The deluge system is designed to be manually started and electrically started through zone 1 solenoid valve. During winch emergency release, the electrical signal will be sent to the solenoid valve of the nitrogen pilot cylinder via RRM or VMS. N2 will be discharged through a regulator with a constant pressure of 4bar to start the pneumatic ball valve and pressurize the water tank. There will be pressure relief, if the tank pressure is too high, the valve is set to 5barG. Water will be sprayed to the winch through the nozzle. The downstream flow switch sends a feedback signal to the VMS to show the discharge.
